Collection: Grandbois Wines

Grandbois Wines is the brainchild of two people who originally met in Canada – both with roots in fine dining, both with the dream of one day making their own wines. After a joint journey through various wineries and extensive practical experience both at home and abroad, they finally settled on the Moselle River.
Since 2021, they have been bottling their own wines there – amidst the steep slopes of the region, together with their two children and surrounded by 2.3 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards. They had the land certified from the very beginning, because healthy soils and vibrant vines are not an option for them, but a prerequisite.
Anyone visiting Grandbois won't find large machines, but genuine handwork – especially on the steep slopes, there's simply no other way. The vines are chopped, cut, and harvested – all with plenty of time, care, and a great deal of physical effort.
Things are similarly straightforward in the cellar: the wines ferment spontaneously, no additives are used, and there are no interventions during the aging process. Instead, they give the wines time, often over two years, until they are truly ready. Batonnage is part of the process – stirring the lees adds more structure and depth. Aging takes place in a mixture of old and new oak, but always with a delicate touch.
The bottles also have visual character: each label is individually designed and reflects the style and mood of the respective wine.
Grandbois Wines stands for wines with personality – not overly polished, but with character, edges, and genuine expression. If you're looking for handcrafted natural wines with the soul of the Moselle, you've come to the right place.
