Collection: Staffelter Hof

Founded in 862, the Staffelter Hof winery is one of the oldest wineries in the world. Located in the picturesque village of Kröv on the Moselle River, it is run by the Klein family. With 13.5 hectares of vineyards, primarily on steep slate slopes, the winery combines tradition with innovative, sustainable practices.
For several years, Staffelter Hof has been committed to biodynamic and organic practices. They avoid synthetic chemicals, promote biodiversity through greening, and use PIWI grape varieties to minimize the use of pesticides. They also generate their own electricity and experiment with alternative packaging such as KeyKegs and paper bottles to reduce their carbon footprint.
In the cellar, the team follows a minimally invasive approach: The wines are fermented spontaneously with natural yeasts, often without filtration or added sulfur. The range includes classic Mosel wines such as Riesling as well as experimental natural wines that impress with their depth and individuality.
Staffelter Hof is known not only for its high-quality wines, but also for its innovative spirit, which prioritizes sustainability and craftsmanship. This commitment has made the winery a pioneer in the German natural wine scene.
