As early as 1978, the two winemakers consciously opted for a radical step: the complete abandonment of chemical-synthetic agents. Instead, they embraced the principles of biodynamic farming, a decision that was almost revolutionary in Germany at the time.
From the very beginning, their goal was not only to harvest healthy grapes, but to create vibrant, resilient soils in which the vines could root deeply and grow in harmony with their environment.
