With an eye for the big picture and a love for detail, they cultivate steep terraced vineyards that can only be worked by hand. The vines grow on calcareous, stony soils – demanding, but rich in character. Just like the wines that result.
At Vino Gross, nothing is loud, nothing is contrived. Work in the vineyard is done in harmony with nature, without artificial aids, with respect for the soil and the climate. The same tranquility prevails in the cellar: spontaneous fermentation, long resting periods, no fining, no filtration. The wine is allowed to follow its own path.
