Collection: Marto Wines

Marto Wines is a small, distinctive winery in the heart of Rheinhessen, run with great dedication by Martin and Alanna. On just three hectares, the couple cultivates their vineyards by hand, with deep respect for nature, tradition, and the soil. The estate has been in the family for generations, and Martin continues his grandfather's legacy, including the old cellar, which remains unchanged and is considered the soul of the winery.
The sandstone-rich soils not only shape the vines but are also a central element in the logo and label design, a tribute to the terroir. Both well-known and rarer grape varieties such as Riesling, Bacchus, Dornfelder, Pinot Noir, Scheurebe, and Huxelrebe are cultivated here. The focus is on diversity, balance, and vibrancy.
Martin brings knowledge from his viticulture studies and experience from renowned wineries. But his approach is anything but conventional: Using techniques such as maceration and direct pressing, he creates new cuvées year after year that authentically express the character of the grapes and nature. Each vintage is an experiment, spontaneously fermented, unfined, unfiltered, and as natural as possible.
